Until recently it was believed that the massage of Thailand had a strong religious significance for Buddhists and was practiced only by monks. He was regarded as the physical expression of kindness, compassion, equanimity and joy unexplained, which illustrates the four states of mind, if fundamental philosophy of Buddhism.
